KSA Retail Academy Manager

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Regional Retail Academy Manager, the job holder is responsible for developing the Learning and Development strategies, leading the team of trainers and optimizing development opportunities for employees. The job holder is fully equipped in the field of specialization to enable the Group’s KSA transformational vision through future-fit leadership, synergetic partnerships and relevant support. 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic: 
✓ Position the Chalhoub Retail Academy (CRA) as a Talent factory and commanding refence in the KSA market for Fashion and Beauty competence 
✓ Develop the CRA’s business plan in KSA in line with the strategic objectives of Chalhoub Group and Chalhoub University 
✓ Formulate and communicate the CRA’s performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards strategic objectives 
✓ Act as a strategic learning partner in the business through leveraging on internal and external resources and Talent and driving value through the Subscription Model 
✓ Uphold the Chalhoub University brand image within and outside of the business and industry 
 
2. Operational: 
✓ Oversee the CRA’s operations in all KSA branches, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and facilitate related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards  
✓ Oversee the CRA’s budget preparation and monitor the budget all year long by controlling expenditures to ensure optimal use 
✓ Conduct needs analysis of Edexcel to the procedures and policies and the quality assurance agreed within the governing board. Ensure that levels of qualification and standards are aligned with the requirements  
✓ Provide Learning and Development to different groups by maximizing the use of the platforms such as Chalhoub University, Axonify, etc. 
✓ Ensure the implementation of effective development methods to educate and enhance performance  
✓ Conduct training programmes to employee and managerial levels 
✓ Assess and monitor the quality of Learning and Development offerings and make the necessary adjustments, additions and localization where necessary 
✓ Report monthly on CRA activities and team deliverables to the Regional Retail Academy Manager  
✓ Participate in the selection of vendors in line with the procurement policies and procedures, and monitor implementation of service level agreements  
 
3. People Management: 
✓ Ensure future fitting of the Learning and Development team in KSA to be able to sustain and drive the KSA market 
✓ Monitor the Learning and Development team’s performance and provide formal and informal feedback, ongoing coaching and appraisal in order to maximize performance  
✓ Build International Qualification Assessment skills, digital talent and other competencies required for the role within the CRA team  
✓ Build strategic relationships with various stakeholders such as governmental entities, local teams, regional teams and other Group affiliates

Your Profile:
  • Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or any related field. Recognized coaching accreditation
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role
