People Lead - KSA

Job Summary:


The purpose of the role is to implement and promote the Group’s People Strategies across KSA, ensuring alignment with each business unit and allowing for local interpretation where necessary.  The role requires an experienced, commercially minded individual with a good understanding of both the Group’s People strategies and the local Saudi market. The role holder will be key member of wider People Team Community, providing advice, guidance and best practice solutions to ensure the Group creates strategic solutions that are fit for our KSA future vision.



Your Responsibilities:           


  • In collaboration with local Country Management and central HR Leadership help define the KSA People Strategy for the Group.
  • Support with the creation of the relevant People metrics to ensure successful implementation of this strategy, and monitor/report success on a quarterly basis.
  • Enhance the delivery and effectiveness of the Group’s Performance Management cycle. This will include delivering comprehensive training and briefing materials to ensure SMART objective setting, timely launch of all process locally, tracking of completion rates, supporting calibration and provide advice and guidance to local People Partners.
  • In collaboration with Group Head of People, coordinate the Employee Profiling cycle in order to identify employee readiness, talent gaps, retention risks and the creation of clear annual development plans.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of a KSA Succession Planning framework.
  • Assist with the creation of internal Talent pipelines, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and People Partners to increase internal mobility, transfers and progression between business units.
  • Support with Group-wide campaign to articulate and communicate clear career paths to support employee engagement and retention.
  • Work with local People Partners to measure the effectiveness of all learning and development approaches from a business perspective and collaborate with the L&D Team to ensure continuous enhancement.
  • Review how the Group’s HR frameworks and processes are being interpreted locally within KSA and work with the Group Head of People to drive and implement the necessary changes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, L&D and People Partners to enhance our Saudi Graduate Program to ensure we attract, develop and retain high performing local talent.
  • Work with local People Experience ambassadors and the central People Experience Team to monitor and enhance employee engagement and oversee the agreed initiatives and action plans.
  • Review the rules of engagement across all HR sub-functions in KSA to ensure collaboration and employee-centric delivery.
  • Act as the voice of the People Team across KSA, by creating a strong personal brand physically and through effective communication channels.


Your Profile:


  • A rounded HR professional, with solid experience of managing a business unit or managing a region.
  • Passionate about people and regarded as a subject matter expert in all areas of Talent Management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence at the most senior level.
  • Ideally an experienced coach, with previous experience of people development.
  • A sound appreciation of digital transformation and culture change, with experience of how to develop and motivate employees in an inspirational and creative manner.
  • Able to project manage multiple campaigns, projects and processes at any one time, operating in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills (both Arabic and English).
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools and Learning Management Systems
  • University Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or any related field/ CIPD and/or PMP certification plus significant experience in the HR or Talent Development, ideally in the region.
