Women Department Lead

Job Summary:

Working with the Store Manager, the Department Lead is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the sales team and ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store in line with Givenchy expectations: 
    Maximize every sale, minimize stock losses, and bring new clients to the business
    Open and close the boutique
    Coach, develop, merchandize and complete inventory
    Ensure policies and procedures are followed in order to achieve maximum results

Job Responsibilities:

Commercial Performance & Team Management
    Insure the monthly department target is achieved
    Maximize sales and measure sales performance and conversion rates on a daily basis through KPI management, conversion rate, UPT, AV price and basket, daily sales …: motivate the team through coaching techniques to improve as well as Mix and match and role play sessions. 
    Train, coach, develop, and manage sales associates in selling skills: Daily training the team on subjects related to her department . Ensure that the team is always updated on the latest fashion and competitors news. Be creative in implementing activities and games that improve the performance of the team as well as their motivation
    Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates on daily basis
    Daily follow up on outreach for future private appointment and preparations of the appointments of the day. Be responsible for clientele development and CRM follow up
    Provide and inspire outstanding service to clients. Make sure the experience of the client is at its best if at the shop floor or during clienteling actions. It should cover also the look of the store, client servicing, client contact collection, After sales follow up, handling clients problems
Product and Stock Management
    stock organization and management: ensure daily that the stock is well organized for easy reading and access to the team. Discuss with the SM and ASM the needs in quantities and ensure the right transfers are done on time. Discuss with the sales team the items to be pushed (Zero sales and slow moving). Brief the team on upcoming stock arrival and make sure to train them on the new products.
    Facilitate merchandise transfers to ensure that stock level complies with client expectations 
    Oversee and participate in department inventories to minimize stock losses
    Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations in applying merchandising concepts and guidelines
Management and reporting
    Conduct and/or participate in regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and to convey other necessary information to associates
    Management reporting: weekly qualitative reports to SM and ASM during a weekly pre planed formal  meeting. Fill in her part of the weekly report. 
    Facilitate proactive communication with the hierarchy and sales associates
    Oversee compliance of associates with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, merchandise handling, security, sales and record-keeping procedures 
    Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all procedures

    Manage boutique operations effectively including attendance, visual merchandising
    Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
    Operate all equipment necessary to perform the job, including POS systems, PC, phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, and all other office equipment
    3 years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury product setting
    Strong knowledge of luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand
    Demonstration of proactivity
    Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
    Availability to work hours necessary to open and/or close the store 
    Ability to maintain presence on selling floor for long periods as needed
    Strong interpersonal communication, organization and follow-through skills
